I can NOT watch 16 and pregnant without crying now. It’s a mixture of emotions and reasons but mostly because I’m blessed to have a cute baby and a very awesome husband. Hate that show but can’t not watch it…
Chris and I looked at three houses yesterday and we are passing on all of them. It sucks. So ready for this process to be over. Why can’t the perfect house come find us. We’re tired and shit.
House hunting can go fuck itself! I feel like a picky asshole! And I can’t believe a dog peed on our realtor!!!
Olive is 5 months and a week - guess who is scootin!! She’s such a blast! We took her to the aquarium today and went 4 hours without a nap then crashed as soon as we got to the car. She’s a trooper and we all had such a good time!
Went a week avoiding Facebook then was asked to post some pictures from our pool party hopping. It was a fantastic weekend! Olive went 7 hours with only a 20-30minute nap. She is the party animal! Good times and good food!
Sometimes I sit and think about what my life would be like if my husband and I would have gone off to college to become a scientist and college professor but then I think back on all that we did and remember we were right where we needed to be and doing exactly what we wanted.
So what if we don’t have fancy jobs, fancy pay checks, fancy cars or a fancy house…. We’re fun, happy, and have an awesome baby. I also really love my job a lot. Pediatrics is where it’s at! I’m good at my job (real good) but I always wonder should I go back to school… Would I even like doing something I love for a living? Could I teach world war II to people that just take my class because it’s a required credit.
Olive just farted like a man - so like I was saying I love my life.
I’ve quit Facebook. I haven’t deleted it yet because that is too much commitment to quitting but I haven’t been on since Monday and it’s been fantastic!
On another note Olive is so awesome! She’ll be 5 months on Monday. She is a rolly-polly and loves to stand. I love to see her grow and learn.
